Ordering Tutorial
We have recently made changes to the order placement procedure on our website. We hope that things are now more intuitive, but if you are having difficulties please read through the tutorial before sending us a question.
Account Creation
Creating an account allows you to receive email confirmations for placed orders, view the status of past orders, and more.
If you choose, you may skip account creation and instead place an order as a guest. You will still receive email updates about your order status, but you cannot view past orders.
To create an account, tap the person icon in the bottom menu bar, (or tap this link).
When the page loads, tap the Sign Up link.
This will prompt you for your email address. Enter it in the provided field, then tap the "Sign Up" button to continue your account creation. Read more about how Berachah Church accounts work here.
Using the Catalog
The Catalog page shows all available discs and USBs. Use the interactive tables to locate specific media items and add them to your order. Each row contains information about a media item: the series name, media number, lesson number(s), and date(s). You can add the item to your order by tapping the “+” button on the bottom right of each row.
Viewing a Series
Towards the top left of the page, you will see a button labeled "Filter". Tap this to open the series filter select box. To display only the items that belong to a particular series, tap on the title of that series. To reset the filter and return to the full listing, choose the "--None--" option.
Audio or Video
There are two main sections to the Catalog page: Audio and Video. Audio is shown first; scroll down to view the video section. The table listed under "Audio" media allows you to order MP3 discs or USB Audio drives; these media contain audio-only recordings of Bible classes. To switch between MP3 and USB, locate the tabs above the table and tap your desired format.
Tables under "Video Media" contain video recordings of Bible classes on DVD and USB Video, and can be toggled between in the same manner.
Adding an Item to Your Order
When you have found the item you would like to order, tap the “Add to Order” button in the last row of the card. This will add that item to your order bag. For more information on how to interact with the items in your bag, skip to this section.
Using the Subject Index
The Subject Index is an interactive table with significantly more detail than the basic Catalog. This tool can be used to search for doctrinal topics of interest and view short summaries of each lesson. The Subject Index also includes searchable dates, scriptural references, and lesson numbers. When you have found the topic or lesson you are searching for, you can add the media item containing that lesson to your order with just a few taps. Additionally, if the lesson you have selected is available for online streaming, you can listen to or view it through the "Watch Now" link.
Searching the Index
Enter any doctrinal word or term in the search box; this will return a list of lessons containing that descriptor. Note that the search tool is not case sensitive, nor are search results limited to whole word matches.
If you wish to enter multiple terms at once, separate each descriptor with a space (e.g., "abide salvation"). The search box will return only the results that contain all of the terms you have entered.
Additionally, you may search for a specific lesson date or Scripture. Dates are formatted YYYY-MM-DD, and books of the Bible are typically abbreviated (e.g., John becomes "Jn", Romans becomes "Rom.", etc.).
Adding an Item to Your Order
To add a media item to your order, tap on the card containing the subject you wish to order. This will open a dialog box with options for MP3, DVD, USB Audio and USB Video (note: if the lesson covering the subject you have selected is available for streaming, there will be an option to view the audio and video directly).
Important: When selecting a single subject from the Subject Index, keep in mind the media format and limits. Since all discs and USBs are pre-made with a set range of lessons, the single subject/lesson you select from the Subject Index will arrive with many other lessons. The exact range of lessons is shown in the dialog box under each media option.
MP3 discs typically contain 40 to 50 lessons each, and the limit is 2 discs per order. USB Audio drives contain 80 to 90 lessons (limit 1 drive). USB Video drives contain around 16 lessons (limit 1 drive). DVDs contain 4 or fewer lessons (limit 4 discs), offering the most narrow focus on the topic for which you have searched.
Bible Character Theatre
Plays put on by Berachah Church's Bible Character Theatre are available for order on DVD. To add these productions to your order, navigate to the Bible Character Theatre page.From here, use the buttons to add one or more copies to your bag (note: the order limit for BCT productions is 3 per month). You may also watch the play directly in your browser from the same page.
Esther, a Queen Who Changed History
You may order up to three copies of Esther, A Queen Who Changed History from this page.You may also download this title as an eBook from the Apple and Google Play book stores. Tapping on the link to the store compatible with your mobile device will open the app page listing for Esther. From there you can continue to download and read the title immediately.
Viewing Your Order
Adding items to your order will fill your bag with those items. To review the items you have selected, tap the bag icon in the lower right section of the menu. This will take you to the "My Order" page, where you can see a detailed list of your items. If you added an item to your order from the Subject Index, this page will also display the lesson and subject you selected to add that item.
To remove items from your order, tap the "X" button to the right of each item (if you delete an item in error, you will briefly be able to "undo" your action by tapping the Undo dialog).
When you are ready to finalize your order, tap the "Finalize Order" button to proceed.
Finalizing Your Order
On this page, you can view your order summary (via the floating "View Order Summary" button towards the bottom of the screen) while entering delivery details about your order.
If you have not yet created an account, you will first be asked to either enter your email address (for order updates) and proceed as a guest, or use a link to create an account. See here for more details on Berachah Church accounts. If you are already signed in, your email address will be entered automatically.
The second step is to enter your shipping details. If you are signed in and have saved shipping details, you can select them here.
In the last step, you can add any additional notes, questions, or requests to be sent along with your order. You may also request a current bulletin. After you have filled in all the desired fields, tap Place Order to submit.
Orders placed for shipping will usually be fulfilled the next business day. Orders placed for library or box pickup will usually be ready to pick up by the next scheduled Bible class.
